Donna's style tends to be photorealism. A great view from a window, a nature walk, or plein air painting are joys to share. To capture nature on a canvas and place it in our homes to enjoy, to her is to (re)experience the fragrance floating on the breeze, the sounds of the birds going about their business, the gentleness or the quiet of the view. Much like we listen to a conch shell to hear the ocean, a painting of an ocean allows us to hear those waves again too. The voice of God is heard through nature. ​
